Description
2075 a US Marine, his combat armour tuned to snow camo, stands post just outside the entrance to the temporary HQ for Recovery Force N.A. It's been 12 years since the Muslim terrorist group Al Qaeda let loose the bio-phage that disrupted the Atlantic current and enveloped the Earth's northern hemisphere in a new ice age. Recovery forces from all of the effected countries, scour the snowbound landscape in search of covered military bases and cities.

That's great work. The atmosphere and mood are quite powerful. Convincing snow. The shadow he casts, however, is far too hard and dark for that kind of day. Using soft shadows in the sky lab or faking it with a couple of spotlights with soft shadows may add to the render time, but the end result is worth it.

Good art. However, the Atlantic current is likely to stop without any "biophage" help. Global warming will do it all by itself.
