Description

This is the river Mosel in Germany and one of the famous wine producing villages alongside. I am talking about the village of Wolf. I love the view on this river. I took this picture last summer.

Hallo Jan Carel This time not the high mountains from Swiss, but closer to home, the Mosel!! Very nice capture, I like the flowers in the front of the photo, giving an extra demension to the photo without sky!! Excellent piece of work, PROSIT!!! Have a nice evening, Henk

What a beautiful view, I can understand why you posted this. Just one small point (and I mention this to help rather than to criticise); the camera seems to be focussed on the flowerheads in the foreground which has left the town & the wonderful backdrop a little less sharp. I don't know what camera you have but for this type of shot it's generally a good tip to focus about a third of the way 'into' the scene, that way you get the best depth of focus from your lens. Hope this helps & feel free to tell me to shut up!!
