Description

Ered Wethrin "The Mountains of Shadow", 'The Shadowy Mountains', the great curving range bordering Dor-nu-Fauglith (Ard-galen) on the west and forming the barrier between Hithlum and West Beleriand. ~~~ Reference for this mountain range came from "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien in the indexes. A must read for any Tolkien and Middle Earth fan, as the book deals with the times before LOTR trilogy. Terrain, surfacing and atmosphere are mine. :) Slight sharpening to the terrain. I've added 'eagles' here instead of my usualy birds. In the books (LOTR) the eagles saved Frodo and Gandalf... My small homage to them. My deepest thanks to you all for your constant encouragements and insights. You aid my imaginations... :) Be well, as always, Pat

The Simarillion. Something I call proesy. Not quite poetry, not quite prose, but a well blending of both. This reflects it perfectly! Excellent! ")
