Description

Howsit! While shooting this inlet at sunrise, I was oblivious to the presence of someone standing in my peripheral vision. But that's a normal thing for me, just so involved in what's going on thru the lens I don't see much else going on around me. When I finally did look up this young surfer girl was staring at me and asked if it was ok to go out through this inlet. Being the gentlemen I am....yeah uh huh....I motioned for her to go ahead...all the while thinking "this is great, I couldn't pay someone to go out while I have my camera set up"....off she went and this is the result. Thank heaven for little girls~ Many thanks for your past comments on my ocean images...I really do appreciate your generous feedback. A good evening and great tomorrow to everyone...Mahalo~

It's too bad you didn't get her contact information......no, not for that! She probably would have liked the resulting shot, and would have enjoyed having a copy of herself in such a beautiful setting. Especially when she got older and could show her kids that, "yeah, mommy was a surfer chick when she was your age, so get off the couch and go outside and play!" ...LOL

She must know this area very well to go out through that rock infested place.......very brave or just stupid, but Hey, she is female! LOL...(I love females :) You always get that 1 in a million and you captured it very well indeed......awesome new images Dave :) Aloha!!

Top shelf photo and love your story. Thank goodness for little surf girls indeed. Heh, that reminds me of an Oingo Boingo song...won't get into that now. ;]
