Description

A photo by an idee from a magazine ("ColorFoto"). The falling king was hold by a thread in original photo which was deleted in PS and then the king got this little tail to create some movement in the photo. Hope you like it! :-) Nikon D50 + 18/55mm: 24mm,1/3s,f4.0,ISO200.

Really cool!!!! Impressive work, and just the right amount of postwork it was. Perfect! Just one thing...the white piece in the lower left corner is a tad distracting to me. But a most wonderful compo nevertheless. Have a great day. #:O)

Very nice photo. Excellent postwork. I like it very much. Have you made the depth of field effect with photoshop also?

Thanks for your comments! @ X-PaX: No, just deleting the thread and giving the king the tail. No more PW...

This is a great shot. But to put it over the top, why not actually make the move checkmate? In the position on the board, white can still move. If the King was really in checkmate, it would make it that much cooler.
