Thanks for the comments Rob, yeah the whole thing was a compromise between the render time (deadline restrictions) and detail. The client wanted a fairly reprasentative kind of thing but I wanted a bit more detail. The trees/plants were done by building a real tree in AM with branches and leaves randomly arranged, and then I rendered that with an alpha channel, then decaled the tree image as a cookie cut on a flat plane. So the tree is three cookie cut panels arranged in a triangle. This cut rendering time heaps and since I wasn't going to need more detail in the trees it worked out pretty good. I hope that made sense???

Is it a "house of cards". I mean this in a nice way. I have found thickwalls to be very "big" and wonder whether cards with minimum space is better to paint outside and walpaper inside. I have also found cinder blocks to be an excellent way to enter the realm of 1-2Gb virtual memory. I like 8x18 mortarless or slumpstones. Your rendering and its opimization looks very good.

thanks for the info ClownHead69- I was asking because they look really good (trees).I have not gotten around to using the cookie cut options in A:M but I will soon. Keep up the good work.

Very nice. I can't remember ever seeing another arcitectural image done in AM. This one turned out well.

This would have been better if you removed that extra long wall on the left of the hosue. It seems odd, and out of character.
