Description

The Poster is 37"x49". The bmp image sent to the printers (Conerstone Graphics ) was 27MB in size, and the Jasc PSP7 psp image was 69MB, and had a total of 42 layers. Richard (aka yesitis3) kindly granted me permission to use his Heavenly "Another Sunset" see: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1152226 His image was placed slightly streatched as the base. I then snatched a section, and feathered three staggered sections on top of that. The two photos were taken by me, and then feathered with 4 layers each. The Photos of the Pastors were Professional images by Olan Mills, which were just taken this year, and use granted by them. I lassoed off the background in back of them, and they are all Feathered 3 times. The Lettering was turned to a 3dS using Wcvt2pov (free by Keith Rule), and rendered in Poser! They were each then dropped shadowed. The Cross was also created using Poser, and later dropped shadowed. The Image above is a side by side reduced image of the original bmp sent to the printer, and a photo of the Marque in our Church Lobby. Sorry about the quality of the Marque Photo. My camera does not do well indoors, and I had to take the shot on an angle in order not to have the flash shine off the Marque glass door. But, I was most impressed with the Quality of the printed poster. It does look exactly like my .bmp sent to them. I give God all the glory! I am proud to me an active member of my Church, its Graphic's Team, and Blessed to be Christian! God Bless You All!

Outstanding piece of commerical art. I love the old time look and feel of this one as if it were done in the early 50's. Im not sure if this is the effect you wanted but its what I see and feel. I love history and this reminds me of what it was like in those days when congregations would have big get to gethers specialy in the mid-west and south. As for the problem with taking pictures in doors remember this rule "Expose for the dark areas and let the highlights take care of themselves". Also what type of camera & flash are you useing? Try bouncing your flash and that should fix any problems with flash shine or to much light. Just turn flash to face opposite direction or to either side depending on amount of light and effect you want. Have white, silver or off white card for light to bounce off and thats it. Also do some expirments with rapping flash in tissue paper to cut down the lighting; and if you crumple the paper you can get some nice effects that way. Excellent work of art
