I agree all it really needs is some things on the wall and maybe even an imperfection somewhere, like a glass of spilt milk of something

I agree... But condisidering the amount of geometry already included in the scene I'm just trying to get the textures and all right. In the end there will be some dirty dishes in the sink and that sort of thing... a little cleaning cloth perhaps, but at the moment those things are no priority to me. Lighting is another thing I need to work on, but that also will result in numerous test renders eating up a lot of CPU. Thanks for the comments anyhow... smile
