Description

Just before this guy disappeared into the white water of Husum Falls, a vertical 10 foot Class V waterfall. This waterfall is located on the White Salmon river in Washington, a few miles from the Columbia Gorge near Hood River, Oregon. He was under water for what seemed like a long time to me, but when he finally popped up he was fine. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

There was a time when i was much younger that I Kayaked a lot. It was about as exciting as anything I ever did. I have been through many class 5 rapids and a few class 5 waterfalls. One was 14 foot, lol. Fortunately my kayak was 16 foot long so I was never really free falling but it will get your heart racing I assure you, lol. I don't recognize this particular type of boat but it sure looks short compared to what i was used too. Unfortunatly, because of a non-related back injury, I had to retire from the sport about 20 years ago. I sure miss it. Great shot and thanks for the memory.

Holy Cow, this would scare the bejeebers out of me. What a great action shot! I used to go white water rafting but it was in a raft and not on class 5 rapids. I have to agree with Leeco ... thanks for the memory. I loved rafting.
