Description

Xfrog/Zbrush/Vue5i/PS Here's what I came up with for the final version of this image. No alphas or textures used (apart from those that came with the ship) This is 99% procedural materials. All materails were made from what comes with the standard VUE material editor. This image contains 3 Terrains - 1 for the rocks, 1 for the main island & 1 for the beach. 2 Ecos - 1 eco consisting of 1 tree type was applied to the main island and 1 eco of rocks was applied to the beach terrain with the variable clumps function. The extra foliage was manually placed. The sky is a simple blend of several standard vue clouds. The water is "standard water" with tranparency @ 50%. All of this was rendered with GI & my own user settings in under 1hr. Please enjoy Cheers all.

aargh you're so good at this program! Another great image, Vert - love the setup of the trees and the materials - except for that piece of shore in the front to the right of the image, but just left of that hill near the ship - it looks too smooth and glossy.

Highly impressive and tropical scene. I like the varying regions of the island - beach plane, wood, rocks and the strange tower upon.
