Interesting look. The shading is very clean. Is there some way to interactively control the general contour?

This is hand-coded C, interactive in the sense that you can recompile and re-run quickly in low-res - but no GUI. The colors on this first run were deliberately simple (Hue of 0 or 180), to see what is going on...
