Good day everyone!
Hope everyone's weekend has gone well! Been very busy trying to get things ready to go back to work and all that good stuff!
This shot here is one of the beautiful white ducks at our local park, Cane Creek. I was actually able to get within' 8 inches of her without her getting freaked out! It took about 30 minutes of slowly crawling on my knees torwards her and three others to get this shot. The kids and my hubby standing near by watching. The animals here are fairly used to people, but they were also resting on nests. So none were eager to move off those new babies. Figured they might as well just sit there since I wasn't trying to hurt them. It was a pretty cool experience.
Hope everybodies week goes well. Got a few side jobs so we'll busy again. And the kids are once again out of school for another 2 weeks! Spring Break! Boy it would have been nice to be out of school as much as they are!

a real pretty quacker. they can get very defensive about their nests. your lucky she did not bite your nose, then you would have a quacker nose

Baby duckies soon to be arriving!!! Yippee, they're so cute!!! Great job by the way. Wonder where the Gander was? They usually stick close by too.

WOW!! Such a wonderful picture. You did such a great job with it even though it took you so much to get it. Some times the best things in life takes a little bit of time to get there. Just like the photo. Thanks for sharing it with us Velvet.
