Description

Of Might and Magic ~~~~ When I created this terrain, I thought, nice, not bad, started to look for a good angle to capture and work on... and what did I discover... A ring of standing stones. For the life of me I cannot remember how I did it (I used a lot of macros in this one), but it's there... Hence my title for this... For in the British Isles and many other places, standing stones, tors and other 'mystical' areas have always been connected with magic. I would like to dedicate this to Azrabella, for his inspiring images of my moms homeland.. Scotland. This truely is how I see it in my minds eye, minus some help from images and wonderful depictions of that land from Azrabella... :) ~~~~ Terrain, surfaces, atmosphere and water settings are mine. Slight levels adjustment, sharpening to the rock faces. I did clone out some wonky waves too... they didnt' suit. Fabulous Pat! The dark moody atmosphere really emphasizes the theme of this one. I love your explanation about the standing stones and such...the surrounding mysticism has always interested me. Wonderful piece of work you've put together here!
