Description

A short break from the Train Yard turned into two days of frustration. I don't know why, But there are some images Poser simply does NOT want to deal with. It wouldn't take this one in one shot. I had to break it down- Marina and the waitress in one render and the Dancer and James in another- and re-combine the image in Photoshop. Everything in this was used in the earlier PlayPose club except the waitress. She's V3 with the Susie Q morphs that come with the DM Night Fever dance stage. Marina's outfit is the Posh for Vicy outfit, which I think is in the freebie section. I gave it a texture I made a few months ago- first time I've found a use for it. The jewlery, watch, cel phone were all freebies. Next posting will be a train update.

Well, at least Poser RUNS on your machine! :D I bought Poser 5 a few weeks ago, and it crashes before I can finish setting up a render. DAZ has never been so problematic, although my laptop--with only 8MB VRAM--doesn't handle scenes with more than three figures either. Some hair and clothing will drop that even lower! My new machine has 64MB VRAM and DAZ has only crashed once so far--knock knock! I read today that even slower processors than the software is designed for can cause instability in a computer. You'd think it would just run more slowly, but it seems progammers and compilers make assumptions about timing... I wish they'd stop that! :) Now, either get back to work, or go visit one of those places in person till you get it out of your system! :D

Well, Poser seems to have it's moods, and I've given up trying to put everything in my renders. You did a beautiful job with this image Madison, in spite of the frustration Poser gave you! (((V)))

I don't know why, but certain characters just seem to say "Use me this way". Marina just seemed to have a playful look to her that seems to go in a lighter direction than some of my stuff- which is good. You can't do serious stuff all the time. Also, the way her face is designed, makes it easier to get good expressions- something that's not so easy with alot of the other characters.
