Description

The lake bends a bit to the north here and offers a nice vista on Brienz and Ballenberg (the uprising hill in the middle of this picture). After some time inhalating this silence it took me quite some effort to carry on tearing myself apart from this vista. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Beautiful lake image, pity there wasn't any green grass around to tranform the scene in to a warmer one :} But hey you can't do that!

I can smell the fresh air from here, Jan-Carel. It would take days to make a decent render of this, if I had the skill and the time. Regards, John.

Superb landscape ! Cold and serenity. Rather academical, but with a perfect technique and composition. The blue is so deep ! The scanning of the film seems to be more accurate than usually. Or maybe you added a little bit of contrast and saturation after the scanning, wich would be an excellent idea indeed, to bring back the loss of quality when an image is reduced to the very small size suitable for the web display.

You're really a Mountain's lover ! with a beautiful way to find your point of view, and to show us all the beauty of each one. The reflection in the lake is a wonder, and a very peaceful and wild place. I hope I'll could turn in the Dolomites in June, and to have the courage to go where we let the ashes of Giancarlo one year ago... Magali want to come with me in Italy, that will be a great week. I would like to show her the Dolomites.... We'll tell you when we'll have decide. Have a nice evening Jan-Carel. Hugs. V
