Description

I hope you will enjoy this image. I tried to make this as realistic as possible. I did add a smoke mask, but removed it because it really made the image, well, smoky. ;) I really thought it added to the overall effect, but sometimes I feel I am a bit biased in my favor! I would appreciate critiques from you. I will probably post another volcano image tomorrow, possibly with the smoke mask added. Let me know what you think, okay? I also added more noise than what was in the actual flame, and the lightning, since as you know, once the gasses reach the atmosphere from a volcano, the chemicals cause a storm that produces acid rain. This is excelent Leann, and I like to here your lesson on elemental reactions near such a force! Well if you want some critique, I would say try and get rid of that pinky colour in the gradient, keep it stricktly deep reds and yellows/orange(it should be easy enough to loose in apo-map)...besides that I think its great! :)

I think my one critique would be the same as Grinagog's; namely lose the pink and commit yourself to deep ogre-like reds and orange-yellows. elsewise, this is one burnin' hunka lava!
