About the above remark: I'm not sure if I'm getting the correct meaning from that person or not... but I found it to be a very insulting thing to say. I maybe wrong, but there's just a nasty undertone to those words. {{ Image }} I found the image to be magnificent. Perfect cropping. Wonderful used of 'thirds' and an amazing candid moment. Terrific job! V

Great depth of field! Great shot! PS: Ignore the moron "superbuick43" who obviously hasn't advanced in his education far enough to read with his mouth shut yet.

Super work of art here. Your technique is way over the top. You have an excellent eye and love the way you croped this piece you did not even need to fram in post as the trees and fountian are a fram in themselves. Your exposer and lightint is right on the money here and one can feel the texture of his clothing and explor every crease in its folds. Great handling of the focal lenth. Is this New York City. Im orig from there and this looks alot like it coule be the village or somewhere in about that area. Beautiful work here... Oh and as for the remark. well maybe thats why the World Trade Towers are nolonger standing. Just something for him to think about.

Beautiful capture of this man reading his newspaper and noticing you right now. His expression is a mix of sadness, and quietness. Impressive work! :)

Thanks for your comments and fortunately, the one from superbuick43 is not here anymore (I'm against any kind of censorship but that comment was way beyond stupidity). As Steeleyes101 said, the place is NYC but not the village, it is Union Square, definitely my favourite spot for cadid shots. And concerning candids, I always feel a bit akward when people spot me and give me "the look" but, in the end, these are the best ones.
