Now this one looks like it took some time to set up! And of course with that block of ice melting time was of the essence~ Love you light paintings, really adds to the nostalgic feel of the photo...nice compo and capture! Aloha~

That block of "ice" is plexiglas. I took several " sheets and glued them together, separated them & then back together to form bubbles. Then chipped and torched the edges to round it to look more like ice. The ribbons on the fan have small wires glued on to form waves since the antique fan didn't run.

Very unique and interesting photo! What a wonderful conversation piece this would be on any wall. Beautiful warm glow above the stove and I can feel the chill from that block of ice. Superbly set up and captured. :-) V
