Description

Thank you for stopping to view. I hope you enjoy and feel free to share your thoughts and ranking below. This UF fracphoto was taken during our NIOSH-sponsored bathysphere descent to 1800 meters in the Taikopiechen Trench 800 kilometers off the coast of Peru early this year. We were amazed to find these huge colonies of Gaussian creatures, pulsating in various intense colors and periodically discharging strong electrical impulses, which wreaked temporary havoc with our onboard electrical systems and forced us to return to the surface. To this day, we do not know whether the creatures were merely communicating with each other, attempting to communicate with us, or angrily defending their territory! Again, my thanks to all who have supported my previous works and my best wishes for a safe and fine day, RIK

Colonies of one-cell-organisms? I like the little Mandelbrots in the electrical streams. Nice work!

Rik, Whoa, Amazing! I can only guess that they, being fractalized creatures, must have been trying to communicate with you! A wonderful and beautiful image, and I love your imagination! Cool writing! Leann
