Description

I have to say that I feel totally privileged to live where I do. Last night we got a rare snowfall in the Santa Cruz mountains. My commute takes me along the ridge line starting at about 1900ft at my house, and reaching a summit of 3200ft. This is just one of the pictures I stopped to take along the way to work. Needless to say, I got to work late. Snow sure is beautiful when it's a rare occurrence. By the way, this is an unedited image taken quickly with my Kodak DX7590 in Auto mode.

I live in the Ottawa Valley in Ontario Canada where we get a lot of snow, I shoot a lot of snow scenes,& the novilty ended about a month ago so I was surprised to be moved by your snow scene. Incredible shot, keep shootin'

Wow your landscape is so beautiful compared to my ugly Las Vegas!! The only thing is that I cant handle the cold, give a darn remote for the cold weather and I'll be your neighbor. LOL....Shannon :} V

Beautiful and scenic!..scary for commute tho...the rare occasions we get wet freezes here(Austin TX)the news fills w/record accident reports...I miss Utah scenery tho...beautiful CA? here!
