Description

Created using UF, lens flares PS. I started creating this image a few weeks ago and is the second of two compositions using UF to create planets and a starfield. The challenge I set myself this time was to create a nebula. It has not been easy, taking hours and hours of tweaking to get to this stage. Although I'm not completely happy with it, it's the best I can do for just now. Time to move on to something new. Many thanks to all of you for your previous comments and thanks for viewing. Heather

VERY nicely done! The color mixtures and lighting is amazing and the atmosphere around the planet is perfection. This goes into my favorites. :)

I have to say, that is one of the better nebulas I've ever seen done in UF. In fact, the whole scene is extremely well done. If this wasn't posted in the fractal gallery, I would have sworn it was done with a 3D program. The only thing that looks slightly unrealistic is the moon because the pattern is a little un-crater-like, but that's really only a tiny nitpick on my part. Thanks for sharing this wonderful creation with us.

This is stunning, those gas clouds/nebula are beautiful, and the aura around the planet is first class, what does UF stand for.
