Description

This is the photo I was trying to get before that sneaky duck came up on me. I lay down to get the shot between the Cypress Knees. A lot of you all like to see the building in it full so here is a side and front of the 1850 house. Sorry it took so long to upload it. I got so many to show but that how it goes. It was over cast at this time of day. It rain later that day. I did shot it in the rain too. If you wish to see it just let me know and I POST IT IN THE GALLERY OR IN THE FORUM. lol hit the caps lock key here. thanks for looking and comments I will upload more of the wedding photos too.

Interesting architecture, especially the stairway from the porch. The old gray wood looks pretty and worn. :0)

Man! They really knew how to build 'em in those days! Still here after all these years, and in my humble opinion it's looking pretty darned good! Thanks for the look! V (:

A nice looking place, full of history, and the cypress kness in the front are very cool. Tell us a little about the Acadian people sometime, I'd be interested to learn something.

Outside "L" stairs, floor platformed off the ground, shutters. Old building, weathered wood, still cozy and livable after a century and a half. Hmmm, let's see if we can solve the mystery. Outside stairs "L"ed under the veranda roof. Probably WARM and RAINY year round, no? Off the groundSWAMPY, yes? Shutters? Must be occasionally STORMY? Long aged, weathered woodsome very rot resistant species. Abstract sculpture on the lawn, anticipating Henry Moore, eh? Gotta be, Sherlock, JUST GOTTA BE--NOVA SCOTIA, RIGHT? (First class!)
