Description

These JDF recon Gun-Chassis stumbled upon the last remnants of a US recon team. Photo taken somewhere in the Northwest. The Gun-Chassis were the only ones to walk away from this scene. Created in Max and textured and post work in Photoshop.

I am I right or wrong but you used 2 models and 1 photograph, which is very well done. The first "but" I want to point out is that the models are a little to sharp in contrast with the photograph. The second but is that I like the effect between fiction and real time. Very cool

I agree with Quiter, then again merging photos and CGI is always a pain. Overall a great image and concept!

If the others are correct I guess I will bypass my compliments on the foreground figures. Those tank tracks in the snow, Fantastic! The thing that's really killing your image is lighting. Take a look at the density of the tank and human shadows. There is still enough bounce light to see details in the snow. Whereas you Mech's shadows are too dense. Likewise, the human shadows are projected to the left and the mech's cast straight down as if lit from straight above. Imprints in the snow, airborne particles from impact, many details still needed to blend the two properly. Good start.
