Description
Darth Vader's Experimental TIE Advanced Fighter (ANH). Global Illumination / Renderosity lighting test. Render time was 3 hours, 29 minutes and 33 seconds (at 1024x768, enhanced high anti-aliasing) on a 1.7GHz Pentium 4 with 256 MB RAM. (I decided not to bake, just for grins.) Model by Staffan Norling, with detailing by Jim Bassett. No textures. Let me know what you all think. I'm new. :-)

nice model. Love the attention you put into the nurnies. Hope to see you post the textured version soon! Better yet, maybe in a full scene? Better yet, animate a space battle, now that would be tres cool. Nice job.

Notice I lifted it off the "ground" so it appears to be floating. :-)

I didn't make the model. It was created by Staffan Norling, with detailing by Jim Bassett of www.theforce.net/scifi3d/ ... All I know is this image took 3 1/2 hours to render because of the way I lit it. It's a journey I'm taking into photorealism.
