Something about me? O Kay! I have recently moved to North Carolina from Oregon, and being recently retired,I find myself busier than ever. Photography is a whole new world for me and I am most grateful for your comments and time taken. Thank you.BIOWhere to start? First, let me say that I am a very young mother with very old children(4 sons), and my motto is "If it doesn't sparkle, don't buy it". I am either a 'new hippy' or a 'new gypsy',(the vote is still out on that). Let me say how much I am enjoying all of the wonderful exibitions of your talents. Thank you, May our gracious Creator, Jehovah, Bless each of you and your wonderful appreciation of His Creation.

I bet one can say a lot about excellent texture etc, but these ancient buildings really touch my heart. If you are silent in them you can experience the joy and heartache of families of long ago.

The gallery sure is flooded with abandoned places like this one today. This really is a beautiful photo Claudia. Packed with atmo...but i gotta say...that your cheerful purple frame really takes away some of that feeling. I suggest you go with a black or dark-grey color instead. Its just that the shot is so pretty and it deserves to be framed in a fitting way. Have a wonderful sunday. #:O)

As if reaching up from the earth to reclaim the wood. Well captured and presented.

Great find of this overgrown entrance! Nature takes back what is taken from it by human beings! Love to see nature's resilience, the wonderful power God put in life! Fabulous work! :)

Wow! Very cool shot. Looks like it could have been the entrance to a nice house, with tall slender windows flanking the door, and one on top too. Hmmm. Maybe a storefront instead. In gazing at this, one wonders about the life that went on there, and what events transpired to lead to the abandonment of the building. ...sigh... What surely was once a warm, rich place full of life is now dry and empty. All the memories of the affected lives are now gone and forgotten.
