Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

Very cool Moe! I love how I can just sit and stare at your architecture, taking in all the details!

This is first class, and very forward thinking. The sky is really moodalong with some excelent buildings.Well done and nice to see some L.Wave pictures.

Great job, as usual. I love the variety of the buildings. There's a ton of work in there. What do you think? A little distant haze might be useful here. Try just a touch of non-linear fog.
djgoldfinger
looks pretty sweet my freind

Another cool cityscape. Nice work :)

wow!!! some real depth there. reall nice set up. Like the negative space too. maybe add a little fog for some added DOF?

As usual, masterful pieces you're bringing to us, same as ElorOnceDark, the details are worth taking time to admire ^^

looking cool moe and great idea, alot of people leave the religious aspect out of the futuristic scenes.
oooZENOooo
It is through religion and war that helps to mould our architecture. I wonder if that still applies today though. This is excellent work and great use of composition. v

Nice work Moe. Sky looks brilliant.

Interesting sky and scene, I just feel there's something missing, maybe a bird or some sort of aircraft ? I would have also mentioned the fog, as Timothy Albee suggests, that only in the dryest part of the planet, there's is no moisture=no fog, but everywhere else NEEDS at least a hint of that. Great modelling work Moe ~Cheers~ :o)

Yes. as usual your work is excemplary. However jif3d has a point. A haze somehere in the background would just about give it that special finish.

Moe: There is a stillness to the shot, no birds, no aircraft, no activity. Reminds me of the inward glance at the time of devotion- all is till to pay tribute to the reverence of that one Light. I don't know if this is what you meant to convey, but this is what came to mind at your mention of the Angelus. My hair stood on end. Great job.

I know whats missing! No Poser character. Cheers Moe, A Image that haws no DAZ in it. One thing though and it is a formula that is used in photography. Effective landscapes (cityscapes) should have a forground, a point of interest and a background. The foreground, usually containing a point of interest go a long way to make a better composed image. So many renders have stunning cityscapes or landscapes that seem to lack any foreground. thus making the viewer feel that they are outside of the image rather than within it.

Fantastic buildings and a great render and i'd like to thankyou for such a great product.
Parthius
Fantastic work. I can't figure out how the perspective would be causing the buildings to appear to be leaning toward the center. Not being able to figure out that aspect ended up being a distraction...
Tammy
You really accomplished the quiet and stillness the sky is perfect. Beautiful render.

I have never heard the Angelus. But I believe i can hear it with my eyes now... sublime skyline, my friend...

Perfection at it's finest, nice concept
chrysophiliax
This is terrific, but I'd like to see a bit less sky and more city. That minor complaint aside, this is fantastic work.
pidjy
Very very very well done, you are a true master in cityscape, this could be a great mat painting and I can imagine a lot of things in that sky. Great Hi-Q work as usual
