Well, here I am, a day late and a dollar short, as the old saying goes. I hope you will enjoy today's post. When I was creating it, I thought it looked like a lotus flower. They are so beautiful.

Cool use of the Apo wave variation together with the flood filter, the soft movement of the water surface is carried on to the beautiful flower, unifying the two elements into one harmonic entity. The colours add the qualities rocserum talks about, warmth and spirituality to the whole. It's like an appraisal of the sun, or on a more symbolic level, of God - a big "thank you" for the warmth, life and light we get. Outstanding work!

Okay-this is going to sound a little sappy but I am going to say it anyhow-since off the top of my head I don't know what a lotus flower looks like. It reminds me of the fire that we keep burning in the core of our soul. There is the core at the center and the fires of hope fan out in ripples to lighten the darkness in and around us, reflecting into the waters of our future that awaits us. Thats what I see. Now I have to find out what a lotus flower looks like-but I think I won't change my mind.smiles
