The fact that you were able to get this close in itself is just so wonderful. The antenna look like combs! You can see each minute detail of the moth. WoW! This is just great. I'm sure the moth was more than happy to let you have this happy picture.

Now thats coming to the rescue! I hear them fire ants are NASTY buggers! Looks like one was still on the wing here! The moth was probably dancin' to shake it off! Cool macro!

Awww, what a kind heart you have (rescuing that poor moth from those nasty fire ants), no wonder he was doin' a happy dance! Not only was he saved from certain death, by a most fair maiden - he was being immortalized via photo capture by the famous redchilicat! LOL. All kidding aside though, this is a truly amazing and most excellent capture my friend. Splendid work Wendy! Have a fantabulously wondermous new week!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!!!!! I HATE MOTHS!!!! They are the nasties of all creatures....shivers. How the flock around lights....burr. We have a light on our front porch, and every night when i have to enter the front door in the summertime i need to fight my way through a flock of moths....EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!! But what an impressive macro though. You can almost make out his facial expressions as well....and he seems pissed, lol. Have a great day Wendy. #:O)

This one looks like it's got some mean attitude. I can just imagine what it's thinking too. "Just you bastards wait!! I'll be popping you in the head as you're going inside tonight!!" This is an amazing macro. {{VOTE}}
