Hello all ! Another from my Castaic lake shots today. Yippee~!!~ we found a new picnicking spot ~. You have to hike a while to get to this spot here, as the paved roads have all shut down 20 years or so ago. Most of the picnicking area (tables) are broken or damaged but we found this one almost untouched in a cozy spot at this pretty place with a view! It is so peaceful here. There is hardly anyone around for miles and miles except for a few boats and maybe a lone fisherman. When you live near a big city like Los Angeles you really appreciate not hearing cars / traffic and rather the wind blowing thru the trees and birds chirping. Mike got excited about fishing as we sat down at this table. It was his birthday a few days later and so the girls and I bought him fishing pole and tackle box. (He hasn

Fabulous spot. Hard to believe that this lake is anywhere near LA !!! AMAZING. I assume it it in the mountains somewhere. Looks alot like norther New England which is so lush and green. What a wonderful OASIS. Definitely the perfect spot !!
