The black and red hues are suitable for the subject matter, and the angle is intriguing. You could have used a wider angle, to include the edge of the boot and a bit more of the right hand.

Did you deliberately choose a book where the P in the title is covered? Just wondering (three days that question has been puzzling me ;-) Oh yes, I like this picture the best of your series so far, the colors are bold and beautiful, I don't mind about the cutting off, as long as it's consistently done, as it is in this case. Go for it!!! It's beautiful!!!
