Welcome to my little corner of he web. I suppose that since this is a Bio page, I should tell you a bit about myself. I am a 43 year old former network administrator. I became disabled a few years ago, so I have a lot of time to improve my 3D skills.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Debbie who has been there for me even when things don't go so well. I have a beautiful daughter who is ten now and is definitely a daddy's girl. (The picture is a few years old,)
I usually use either Poser 7, Carrara Pro 6 or a combination of the two for my modeling work. I also use Photoshop X to make textures and for other postwork. I really need to upgrade my system soon, but with my wife working, going to school full time, and doing medical assistant externships, We really can't afford to do it for a few years.
If there is anything else you would like to know, feel free to email me. I love to meet new people and I appreciate any constructive criticism you may have about my work as well.
Thanks for dropping by

Nice job!

Thanks. I just built a new rig with a bit more horsepower. Amazing how fast these AMD dual core chips can render.

Beautiful render! The luster in the reflections on the buildings are so meticulous that I can sense the different materials/textures. If you added a counter-reflection from the blue building onto the gray fore-building, it'd match the scene I see every day downtown. Excellent matchup of the shading on her body in relation to those buildings, as well (i.e., in that the light source seems consistent--many pics I've browsed lack this correlation). The pose of her hands/fingers (right hand absently toying with her equipment, left fingers ready for action but indecisive as she assesses the situation), the blue trim on her outfit, the play of hair behind her left hip, and the details of the gadgetry on her belt add some remarkable flair. I have to admit, though, her expression is quite cryptic. Is she wary of the bad part of town? If so, her body pose seems quite confident to the contrary. Is she preoccupied, perhaps a little frustrated or impatient? Maybe indecisive, wondering whether she should have come to this part of town in the first place?
