Description

What IS that? Further investigation will be necessary, it may pose a threat to cyberspace. Dorky, sure. But that's what I had in mind as I worked on this image. It resulted from a desire to experiment with displacement maps to see what kind of weird shapes I could get. I may have another of these experiments to post in a day or so. It's tough to follow up something as big a hit (by my standards) as the Modern Sexy Series so I thought I'd just have some fun! I hope it doesn't disappoint. Thanks for looking and for your comments! No disappointment here, I loved your Modern Sexy Series, and this one is great too! I love the feel of this one, the lighting, the coloring, and the suit looks great. Keep working on those displacement maps, and no telling what other kind of mysterious materials youll be able to concoct.

Nice looking experiment and agree with Roos in that it looks fantastic. As for follow ups to a good series, posting experiments are important whether or not they bring in the hits and comments, since they can bring in something much more important (useful feedback on how to make it look better!) I'll provide none of that here though.

that's one nasty looking anomaly there, and if we all stopped working on something that was dorky, we wouldn't post anything at all :P

"... She moved carefully. Rogue silicon implants could turn vicious if provoked. But she needed to replenish the Tee'N-ai generator, seriously depleted by the Modern Sexy series..."
