I spotted this fellow displaying his breeding plumage while driving by a golf course. My passengers had to cool their heels while I captured his (obviously proud) pose. Glad you popped by!

We have these in our area, but I can never get close enough to get a shot..... so I just have to be content watching them fly off!!!! LOL :P This is a wonderful capture!!!! Lucky you!!!!

They are amazing looking birds. I photographed one a few months ago from a much greater distance with the wrong size lens, but I could tell it was a special looking bird. Your shot just confirms that.
