Description
A Romulan War era fighter. Capable of brief periods of warp but not capable of independant interstellar flight, the fighter has to be transported to the combat zone by a carrier vessel.
Michael suggested "Galactica" as the name of the carrier ship (there is a precedent for "real" spacecraft being named for fictional starships - NASA's shuttle, Enterprise).
Thanks to Michael for help with the design.

Looks more like a fed design than the actual one.

Great stuff..there's some 'actual' fighter models at the web site 'Starfleet Museum'..;) (I may have told you this already, if so, ignore it..;)

Your eye for a shapely model is unmatched - beautiful ship. Was Shuttle Enterprise named for Star Trek Enterprise or for US Aircraft carrier of same name which was named after Captian Cooks sailing ship... I think?

Another great spaceship = I look forward to seeing it in a scene.

With reference to Samnepetz comment above, I'm not sure if the Shuttle Enterprise was named after the aircraft carrier or the starship. It's worth pointing out though that when the shuttle was unveiled by NASA the cast of the original Star Trek series were honoured guests and the series's theme music was played.

Very nice work! Where are the weapons? As for the Enterprise-- the shuttle was named after the starship which was named after the aircraft carriers.
