Description
I'm still taking the art lessons and he's got me working with paints now...this is my first still life...well, I know it's not very original, same old fruit bowl that everyone does, but we threw in an onion just to mix it up a bit ;)~ *L* I know the light reflections on the fruit aren't very good, but hopefully I'll get better with practice! anyway, I had fun and learned a LOT! I'm recreating a painting from a master now, The Monarch of the Glen painted by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer...I fell in love with it as soon as I turned the page and saw it...I'm very excited and chomping at the bit for my next art class tomorrow...thanks for taking time to look and hope you enjoy...Karen :D

I love the rich colors and Mediterranean flavor. Beautiful painting and excellent work.

I really like the colours, very vibrant. , very nice. excellent perspective as well, but what I really love is the texture, despite the thick brush strokes and larger than life vcolours the texture on the fruit and on the wood is really naturalistic. I just love it!
