This model (modeled in Wings3D) is inspired by the classic movie "Silent Running" Premis: Huey and Dewy (the 2 drones set into space by Freeman Lowell) have indeed thrived and went beyond Fremmans' hopes in keeping the forest alive and well. Coming across the wreckage of the Valley Forge and other ships over time, the drones managed to adapt the Dome into a functioning ship, capable of sustaining itself while orbiting the solar system. Huey and Dewy can leave the ship in pods (which I havent made yet) to land on small planetiods and asteroids to harvest minerals and ore, which are made into materials. Powered by solar energy, the ship, named Lowell by the drones, is still out there waiting for the time Earth can reclaim her wildlife .... The Model: Constructed in Wings 3D from a single sphere, it has a poly count of 8128. For use in Poser, Daz, or Bryce, it has 11 material zones as follows: 4 Exterior, 2 interior (one is the hall lights), 1 Dome girder, 2 window, and 2 egnine glow. The model as shown features a terrain made in Bryce inside the dome as well as a few trees and a water plane. Any feedback and advice is much appreciated!
