Description

The thumbnail is a picture I took of the full moon last night. It was so beautiful and mystical. There's a luna eclipse tonight people! ******************************************* Silver moon is shining down Her round white face no longer brown She pulls my mood with the deep blue sea This nightly lady whom most can see. Oh Luna Lady, Please answer me Where's my love You sent from thee. He's still not here For me to love, Oh Luna Lady Shining up above. I say a prayer for her to hear My love's so wild my eyes do tear. It needs to focus on love's true one From rosy sunup till day is done. Oh Luna Lady, Please answer me Where's my love You sent from thee He's still not here For me to love Oh Luna Lady Shining up above I fear to lose emotions inside I feel them slow, begin to hide My walls are strong, growing day by day I hope that love can break them away Oh Luna Lady Please answer me Where's my love You sent from thee He's still not here For me to love Oh Luna Lady Shining up above I sit outside and meditate I know of patience, I have to wait. But life is passing me by so fast I don't know how long I have to last. Oh Luna Lady Please answer me Where's my love You sent from thee He's still not here For me to love Oh Luna Lady Shining up above The clouds are thin and race on by They cover her face as she becomes shy. I've asked a lot from her you see, She cannot answer me truthfully. Oh Luna Lady I'm so sorry To pester for love and honesty. I know he's not real Nor will he ever be Oh Luna Lady I release my plea. From the darkest of night in a far away land An idea is planted with the itch of a hand A feeling to travel over seas so blue He searches for something real and true. Oh Luna Lady Please guide my sails, I'm set to search to cure what ails. My lonely soul Now needs a mate Oh Luna Lady Show me my fate.

I have no words that could come close to equate the excellence demonstrated here. Only but a few I can offer in truth. Thank you.

There is a Spanish folk song (turned hit by Mecano) called Hijo de la Luna (Son of the Moon). Your poem is strangely correlated with the lyrics of that son. Wonderful writing and expression of feelings.
