Description

After taking a long time for thought, I was inspired by an RGUS image with this freebie prop. The idea of a robotic "sting" was fine in principle but difficult to obtain a pose worthy of such a weapon. To add to the scene, I used bits of sci-fi armour from KingsKreations to add a more insect-like appearance to the main character. To counter for the heavier front, I added quite a muascluar morph to the back legs - then put a lovely expression on her face! Putting reflections and light on all of it was time consuming with the renders and I've used differing metallic tones - again to get a more insecty feel. Believe it or not, the position of the tail was the hardest - to get the sting into focus with extreme DOF. Feedback is welcomed.... Raychel

Awesome Raychel, I think you did a brilliant job posing that damn snakey thing from Stonemason. I knoiw it's not the easiest thing to control at the best of times. I like the smooth flow of the snakey thing, (wish it had a real name), it looks natural and not all twisted as can happen when you spin dials the wrong way. The blokes arm armour is really cool and I think you did a fabulous job on the materials for the whole image.... SUPER WORK!!!! (HUGE VOTE)
