About ANALOG Science Fact & Science Fiction: Astounding Stories was a seminal science fiction magazine founded in 1930 and initially published by Street & Smith. Astounding Stories of Super-Science, first edited by Harry Bates, is generally considered the forum where modern science fiction was created. It has changed names repeatedly, most importantly in 1938 to Astounding Science-Fiction, and then in the 1960s to Analog Science Fiction and Science Fact, under which name it is still published. About the artwork: This is the second time (see my gallery) that I post a tribute artwork to Analog science fiction magazine. I hope to have catch again the mood of this vintage magazine. This is an excellent trubute to the art of Analog. Your modeling is outstanding as well. Love the overall concept and design here please tell me more bout how you do such work. How do you get that old time lighting and coloration? That is what truely makes your art so special.
