Description
So many pretty maids vying for the sun. I have no clue what this flowering tree is called. It was planted by the former owners of my house and is just starting to bloom. The flowers look like a cross between an orchid and day lilies.
Does anyone know what it is? I could snip off a flower and take it to the nursey for identification but that would deprive it of realizing it's full potenital as a flower.

Never seen anything like this! It depends also where you find this, but even then, I'm not familiar with it at all! Gorgeous capture anyway! :)
