Iman
I found her at the housing complex of the abandoned zoo in Kisangani. The grand daughter of the "Water Bearer". It was a day full of surprises. And YES...there once was a zoo in Kisangani. But with the outbreak of the war....all the animals were killed for food.
I decided to leave the shoes in the shot....just to show how little she really was....

This is the first time I ever really stopped to vote. This is a photo one would expect to see on the cover of a well known jornal such as: National Geographic, Time, etc... As this picture catches ones interest and gives an insight into a greater story!
