Description

When I drive into my village this is the first thing I see. This memorial cross stands high behind a dry stone wall. It seems to tell me I am home, I am safe. I want to dedicate this, with dear love, to little Goha and her Mom. And yes, Girsempa, I am really "getting into" Rosity. A Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all! Thank you so much for looking. Diane.

It's wonderful how the gentle clouds seem to embrace this ancient symbol of the place you are so lucky and blessed to call your home. If I happened to live there, this image would go straight up my living room wall!! ;-) So beautiful!!! Thanks, Diane!!

This is incredible!!! I (we) love Celtic knot work and designs! This is an awesome example of Celtic knot work in the form of a cross! (Itself an interesting concept). Your framing and composition are wonderful!! The contrast of the bright blue sky and the warmer tones of the graveyard, are gorgeous!

Ah! Celtic beauty in that stonework! What a fabulous place for final rest, a beautiful view! If one believes in ghosts (and I do) you can imagine them all gathering and gazing out at the beauty:-) Thats the first cross I have ever seen with the Celtic knot work, quite fascinating! Superb capture!
