Description

Here it is:) My first render finished in Blender. Urchin, my chief (and only:) character, modeled in C4D long ago. All remaining modeling as well as texturing and lighting done in Blender. Rendered in Blender 2.41 internal. Have a good time... ...And be aware of your bikes! My one just waits for improvement of the weather. PS. Textures are mostly my own photos, with some taken for free from NoctuaGraphics and PaulBourke`s sites. Thanks!

Oops, and I forgot to remember RafikZabki who sent me his glass material from which I modified my one. Thanks Rafik! ** ...I know, some DOF would improve the image dramatically. As we know, still theres no automatic DOF in Blender Internal! I finally managed to make the camera follow a circle path to achieve such an effect, but afret overnight rendering at 800x800 I got just 5 frames out of 16 :0 If you have ideas how to improve Urchins exposition using lights, please share your knowledge:) Still just an amateur w/o any theoretical knowledge, at the moment I do everything at the trial-and-error basis. It last ages, I can say you! This version has 292th number:)

That sure says a lot for Blender. The character reminds me a little of the Pit Droids from E1...Great idea too. Metal rinding metal steed. Well textured and well designed and excellent POV.
