Description

One of the Winter treats near the Aspen area are the mountain peaks of Maroon Bells. They did not disappoint when I finally came face to face with them after one hour of snowmobiling. Have a great day! Suresh

To think that those high rock layers were formed at the bottom of the ocean (I learned that in my geography classes about the origins of mountains, or orogenesis, 30 years ago, haha). Just leaves you full of respect for nature, doesn't it? Wonderful, breathtaking shots!!!

Beautiful mountain covered in pristine white snow. I can see a couple of lines that would probably make a very satisfying (and challenging) ski-descent. Excellent captures!
