Mike and Linda Allison have been interested in fractals since 1994, when they bought their first computer. Mike's probably sorry he "discovered" them because he's seen very little of Linda in the past 12 years! :-)
They live in Florida, where Linda grew up, but miss their son, daughter-in-law, and grandbabies, all of whom live in Washington.
:-(
They console themselves by spinning colors and getting lost in the images!

Oh, I LOVE this! What a wonderful Christmas tree!! I would also love to know what you're using to make these. Really fine work. Is it UF? Maybe I have forgotten and you told me already?

For this image, I used the program Ultrafractal http://www.ultrafractal.com/. There is a database of formulas at http://formulas.ultrafractal.com/ Within that database are formulas by many different authors, all tailored for use with Ultrafractal. This fractal uses 10 layers of varying transparency and 5 different formulas. It took me awhile to get it right, but I'm satisfied with the result! Thanks for your interest! Linda
