BIO
I've been married 17 happy years. I've actually been married 23 yrs, but about 17 have really been happy. =^}
I have twin girls just out of high school.
During the day, I am a Certified Engineer specializing in new construction for my local State Highway Dept. In the evenings I do some web design for the locals : http://www.gratrgraphics.com
I started messing with Terragen, but saw fractals posted and fell in love. Picked up Apophysis and became an immediate addict. The images that I render are a little eclectic, but hey...I like them. Hope y'all do also.
I have also written a tutorial for Apophysis:
Creating and Saving Custom Gradient Packs in Apophysis
You can find it under the Fractal section of the tutorial link at the top of the page or you can view it at it's alternate site:

A lot of inetesting eye movement!
misha_d
loved your art... absolutely loved this one! about eye movements, not so easy, but yes the large swoosh does lead your eye upwards to the upper right corner... but nevermind the edges... about the title: I think I was just kept founding things here, without losing; one connection, then another, then another... nothing's lost, one of the facets lights up, sparkles, only to be replaced by another sparkling facet, a beautiful crystal... great job with this one!

I love the way the facets graduate in color and light. What was dim is brilliant now as it ascends. Wonderful detail, overall flow and texture. Rich and beautiful..and an interesting-to-view perpsective. Excellent.

Well, being dyslexic, I have a propensity for doing things backwards! My eyes were caught by the top center. The gold and the sandy texture really caught my eye. Then down to the left, to that astonishing green, and then going right, to complete the circle back to the center! Wonderful fractal!

For me, the focus began with the second tendril sweeping out from the far left lower spiral at the point where it nearly intersects the paler green x-center, then down that arc to the spiral itself, then slowly up that spiral into the upper massive spiral and across its long arc to the "pentagram". From there nearly straight down to the pentagrammatic echo structures.. Fine work: a sharp sense of ponderous mass comes strongly through....
chesscanoe
Top center down to lighter green cross, to left origin of the two spirals, to lower right for the smaller origin of two spirals. I like the grainy overall effect.

KLASSE !!!!!

I did what chesscanoe did. I saw all the cool textures in the middle to right corner, then on over to the left, then down and across to the right. Wonderful textures and depth. V (:

Oh dear, I'm afraid my eyes run from one corner to the other. Start on the bright winglike shapes in the top (just right of the middle) than down to the left corner, up again to the pentagram in the upper right corner and than straight down to the right corner below. Got that? I'd rather just take the image in. Love the colours and texture ^_^

I go from top right to bottom left, then straight across the bottom. Beautiful work!

Excellent play! Wonderful result, gorgeous formation and colours!
