Roses is a subject far too thorny to present beyond the circle of enthusiasts. As a boy I was taken on many vsits to Jackson & Perkins gardens in Newark, New York to see the latest in tea and hybrid tea roses. My ex-wife talked about the roses her mother bought from Wayside Chapel in Ohio and the tie to Frank Lloyd Wright. It was all a sham. Cultivation is husbandry.

My Goodness they are beautiful, you lucky man, you can buy already such wonderful flowers for the garden, here the would freeze to death!!!! When I see this wonderful captured beauties I just feel how much I'm waiting for the spring!!!!! Wonderful, and thanks for sharing!!!!

Perfectly beautiful macros Richard. :-) You have the most wonderful roses in your garden! And here I am stll with snow.... :-( tosses a few snowballs your way. lol These look so professional like photos that you would find on the rose bush to identify it. Excellent work!! :-)
