Description

Shoot Info - Shot Wednesday, Mar 15, 2006. The goal was to recreate World War 2 era (1940s) pin-ups and Military Aircraft nose-art of the time as best as possible with limited resources. The shoot was shot with a High Key backlight and purposly trying to make the models look more washed out for an artistic painted mimic. Model - Catherine Allen. She's expierienced in Pin-Up photography, which made for some great ideas on the spot! A lot of fun to work with! Photo Notes - This was part of the few poses we did where we just went with whatever ideas came up. Even though I shot it tight (and I did shoot it overall as well), she and I both love this closer view. The .50 Cal, as you may notice, is different than the .50 Cal from the last set with Elizabeth. This .50 Cal is more of a land based version and molded from a real WW2 .50 Cal. Photo Details - Taken with a Canon Rebel EOS 5D (12mp) and Canon 28-105mm USM lens. Shot at a studio where I work in Anaheim, CA.

Terrific pose and props (and her legs aren't hard to look at, either). It's apparent that she's having a good time with this shoot. Catherine looks ready to WAC the Axis.... Superlative!
