Description

The Dance. That is what a -Kata can be thought of as. A series of movements, gracefully or mechanically, put together in a sequence that, depending on the form, may be elegant, sensual, fluid, compelling, captivating, and inspiring all at once. Armakata, inspired by Gun-Kata, is all of the above. It's an orignal Martial Arts form based off the idea that a moving target is harder to hit than one that is stationary. Those who are John Woo fans and enjoyed the gun fight scenes in Equilibrium should find this original martial arts form absolutely engaging. I wasn't particularly happy with the poses that were out there - not bad poses, just limited and had very little to do with active intense gun play. Thus, was born Armakata (Arma - arms or weapons and -kata, dance or form practice). CREDITS: Shadowdancer outfit from DAZ ArtemisX Outfit from DAZ Aiko Ponytail for V3 from DAZ The Core from DAZ

Fantastic work on these James! Really captures the essence of the scene when you have the characters in motion like this. Bravo on this one. Suze
