I figured I should put sometime up for my bio. Between work and all my other projects/activities, I haven't spent enough time on Renderosity...
Anyway, my background in programming/psychology/ergonomics doesn't provide enough creative expression for me. I had wanted to be a writer (SF/Fantasy) for years (though I realized that I would never be an Orson Scott Card or a Joss Whedon) and love the art here on Renderosity (thought I'm not artistically talented enough to shine in this arena), but finally decided that cartooning (playing with ideas more than words or images) was more my thing. Some of those SF/Fantasy stories I may turn into a comic strip (or graphic novel).

Very powerful statement! The masses of are people are soo conditioned to lies (by way of thoughless conformity)that when the truth is presented, no one wishes to see or "go off course." Excellent statement and image!!

this one is beautiful. the concept is everything. You'll note wizardtim doesn't actually have any artwork in his gallery. The commentary and message is powerful! your thought and idea is very very strong! push yourself along the same lines as this piece!

software doesn't make art, a person does....

Using the wrong tools doesn't make art either. Just my opinion, which is just as valid as anyone else's. This "work" is primitive to the point that any first grader can do this with Windows Paint. It is obviously being praised by others for its radical politics rather than its artistic skill. I would have the same view of the piece if I agreed with the politics. So, the correct tool is just as important as technique, or would you try to drive a nail with a knife?

In wizardtim's defense, he's right in some respects. Just because he doesn't have a gallery doesn't mean he doesn't have eyes.If only those who created graphics were allowed to look, where would we be? Myself: Absent a hammer, I might use ANYTHING to drive a nail, if I wanted to drive it bad enough:)
